August 3-12, 2023, WMEI will offer a travel Seminar in Quito, Ecuador led by Rev. Dr. L. Wesley de Souza, and hosted by the Nazarene School of Theology.

Candler and other Students in the Atlanta Theological Association may receive 3 hours of Evangelism or Mission credit in the August-Term session of the Fall 2023 semester; based on full participation, 3 Continuing Education Units may also be awarded to attendees.

Travel costs of $1950 to include flight, lodging, meals, tours, and other group travel expenses. Students will be responsible for personal transportation and expenses.

Travel costs are in addition to and paid separately from the standard tuition and fees for 3 hours of academic credit.

Applications are now open until Friday, March 31, 2023 at wmei.org/upcoming. Once an application has been accepted, the student must pay a non-refundable deposit of $975 and then may register for the course. The remaining balance of $975 will be due on May 12. WMEI will provide a personalized letter of solicitation for students seeking funding from sources other than themselves. On Thursday, June 1, the group will gather in a hybrid format for the first of three sessions to prepare for the trip. During the first part of the trip, from August 3-7, the group will conduct a tour. The Seminar will then run from August 8-12.
